Pyramid is a privacy-first, fully offline bouldering tracker. We have no accounts, no servers, and no copy of your sends, sessions, projects, or photos.
Last updated 11 August 2026 · v0.1
Nothing about your climbing. Every send, session, project, photo, and note you log stays on your device, in a private SQLite database, and never leaves unless you explicitly export or share it.
When you buy Pyramid Pro (Annual or Lifetime) through Google Play, the transaction is verified through RevenueCat, an industry-standard in-app purchase service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier for this install — not your name, not your email, not your climbing data. This is required to know whether you own Pro on this device. RevenueCat's privacy policy →
If the app crashes, we may send a stack trace to Sentry to help us fix the bug — the device model, Android version, and the line of code where it crashed. It does not include your climbing data, sends, photos, or notes, no screenshot is ever attached, and no performance or usage data is collected. Sent only in release builds. Sentry's privacy policy →
Pyramid uses two standard Google Play features: Play's own in-app update prompt, and its in-app review prompt. Both are handled by the Play Store app on your device. We send it nothing about you, and we receive nothing back beyond whether an update exists.
Settings → Send feedback opens your own email app with the app version, your Android version, and your device model pre-filled in the message body, so bug reports arrive actionable. Nothing is sent until you press send in your email app, and you are free to delete any of it first.
Access and deletion requests. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to look up, export, or erase on request. Deleting your data means deleting it on your device — clearing the app's data or uninstalling it. For anything held by RevenueCat or Sentry, see their policies linked above.
Pyramid stores your data locally in:
All of this is private to the Pyramid app. Other apps on your phone cannot read it. When you uninstall Pyramid, Android deletes every one of the items above. Files you deliberately saved elsewhere — a backup, a PDF, a CSV, a shared image — are outside the app and stay where you put them.
Pyramid can send you an optional daily climbing reminder. It is off until you turn it on in Settings, and Android only asks for notification permission at that moment — declining costs you nothing else in the app.
Reminders are scheduled entirely on your device: the app hands a time to Android's alarm scheduler and Android posts the notification back to you. There are no push notifications, no messaging service, and no network involved. The reminder text is generic and never contains details of your climbing. You can switch reminders off in Settings, or revoke the permission in Android's system settings, at any time.
Pyramid does not use Android's automatic cloud backup — your data is never mirrored to Google in the background. Instead, Pyramid has its own backup feature (Settings → Back up): it creates a file containing your sends, sessions, projects, and photos, which you can save to your own Google Drive, other cloud storage, or local file system using Android's share sheet. You control if and when a backup is made, and where it goes. Restoring is the same — you choose the backup file, and nothing happens without your action.
A backup you make is the only copy of your data that exists anywhere outside the app, and making one is entirely up to you. Pyramid keeps no automatic second copy of its own.
Pyramid makes outbound network requests only for:
You can log, view, and share your climbs completely offline. Internet access is not required for normal use, and nothing about your climbing is ever transmitted.
Pyramid is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you are under 13, please do not use this app.
If we change this Privacy Policy in a future version, the new version will be available at this URL and the app's About screen. Material changes will be noted in the app's update notes.
By downloading, installing, or using Pyramid, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Pyramid grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal climbing tracking. This licence does not transfer ownership of the app to you.
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, redistribute, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law. You are responsible for how you use the app and for the data you choose to log, export, or share.
Because Pyramid is local-first, your climbing data lives only on your device. We cannot recover it for you if your device is lost, reset, or the app is uninstalled. Please use the app's backup feature (see Backing up your data) to keep your own copy.
Pyramid is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Pyramid is a logging and visualisation tool — it is not training, coaching, medical, or safety advice. Climbing and bouldering carry inherent risks; you are solely responsible for your own safety and decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app.
We may update these terms in future versions; the current version always lives at this URL, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Pyramid Pro is offered as two purchase options through Google Play, using your Google Play account for billing:
$19.99 / year
Pyramid Pro (Annual). Renews automatically at $19.99/year until you cancel. Cancel anytime in Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions — cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for.
$69.99
Pyramid Pro (Lifetime). A single one-time payment, not a subscription. It never renews and does not require cancellation.
Prices are shown in your local currency at checkout and may vary by region. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own refund policy, not by us directly — see Google Play's refund policy. Both purchase options unlock the same set of Pro features. The annual plan may include a limited-time free trial for eligible new subscribers; when a trial applies it is shown before you buy, and you can cancel any time before it ends to avoid being charged.
Nothing you have already logged is ever deleted or locked away if Pro ends. Your full history stays on your device; only the Pro-only views of it return to the free tier's range.
